Reviews
We moved all the way from Miami and ill begin by saying we looked at a bunch of other places but Revo was overall the most organized, informational and wonderful at following up, all thanks to Ester. The immense stress of moving across the country was instantly relieved by how simple she made the process. After living on my own since the age of 17, I’ve come to appreciate simple, clean, and well-thought-out buildings, as silly as it may sound. We are beyond happy in our new home! I recommend Ester a million times!!!
If I could give this 0 stars, I would. Initially the tour that we took of the place, made it seem super nice with luxurious amenities, a dream come true. But once the tour was over and we started living there, it was an absolute nightmare come to life.
Putting high level reasons of why Revo is a joke to live in:
Safety/security
* Mail room was broken into multiple times, doors were broken
* Cameras don't work, so you can't even find who stole your stuff
* We had multiple packages stolen, even on the first week. It got to a point where we had to have our mail/packages shipped to our parents' house
* There was an incident where the tires were stolen off of 4 different vehicles
* There were reports of homeless people sleeping in the pool area
* Many residents did not feel safe to the point that we had a group chat going on to monitor suspicious activities
Amenities
* Gates to get into the parking structure were CONSTANTLY broken
* Elevators were constantly broken
* You couldn't count on Building Management staff to send out the emails to tell us when stuff was broken
* Website was wonky at best - there were months where the Autopay feature didn't withdraw utilities, and you had to do it yourself, kinda defeating the purpose of Autopay
* You were given a limited number of guest parking spaces/month (I think 5?). And you had to print out the pass. And you had to get a guest pass even if your guest was only there for a few minutes. I had someone come for less than an hour, and their car was towed. Yes, there's a tow truck that circles within the garage looking for victims
Environment
* Super thin walls and floors, you can always hear your neighbors
* Since the building is next to Angels stadium, you can expect traffic at all times. And the noise pollution that comes from the traffic
* Everything was extremely dirty. There was trash on the floors of the trash rooms, the floors of the elevators, and the parking spaces
Staff
* The staff member who initially gave us the tour is no longer there; it seemed like a high turnover rate
* We asked for an inspection prior to moving out, and sent a form with the date that best worked for us. No inspection was done, no calls/emails to confirm the inspection either
* Staff who came into the apartment to fix various items did not offer to wear shoe covers, muddying up our apartment
* We were asked to find parking elsewhere while the staff did a deep cleaning/power wash of the parking spaces. There's no public street parking nearby...
* We had issues getting our deposit back after moving out. Lease ended on 4/15. The initial check was issued on 4/26, and they had issued a check for $30.54 (deposit was $600). We called multiple times and left multiple voicemails to request an itemized copy of the charges. After no response, we decided to email them on 5/17 to ask for the itemized list of charges, along with any pictures as proof of "damages", as we had taken pictures when we moved out as well. Their response was that they would "work with receivables team to adjust the deposit". We had to follow up every week just for some sort of update. In the end, they somehow found an additional $365.48, but check was not issued until 6/19.
TL;DR: Safety is a joke, amenities constantly undergoing repairs with minimal notice, and management is slow and unreliable. They charge "luxury apartment" prices, but nothing about it feels luxurious. If you live here, make sure to get your itemized charges, review the bills, and fight for your rights.
My roommate and I are looking to relocate to the area in the fall. We stopped by Revo and we were very impressed by how clean and bright the community looks and feels. Ester took really good care of us telling us all about the area where we would go for groceries and things of that nature. I was very impressed by her knowledge of the area and attention to detail in answering all our questions. We will be back in the fall to rent.
I have a very close friend who lives here and enjoys all the amenities of this apartment complex. He is kind enough to let us enjoy them as well. The Revo staff is uber friendly and attentive. My friend celebrated his birthday at one of the outdoor lounges we had a blast and the cleaning staff were excellent. The views of Angel stadium are great even though the Angels are far from great. We hold poker games weekly at his apartment and sometimes we play at their gameroom/massive lounge every now and then. If you're thinking about moving here do it. It's a bit pricey, but worth it if you can afford it.
We've lived here for two years and we absolutely love it. Esther Rodin is our leasing agent and she is an absolute joy. She was a big help moving in, and made the whole process simple and fun while also saving us some cash.
The building is well kept and quiet considering the area, which is walking distance to Angel Stadium, the mall, several public transit hubs, and more with the Honda Center and Disneyland a 5 min drive away.
We just resigned a lease for another year, we love it here and plan to stay.
Review for my experience so far has been great. I recently just moved to the Revo Apartments so far my experience is great. I was helped by Zach, Britney and Esther. Zach is amazing. I love his energy. And kindness and Britney is full of joy. Esther is very nice and helpful so far everything is great.
I did a tour today with Ester and it was great! She was very knowledgeable and answered every question we had. The units were very spacious and the amenities definitely make it worth living here. The pools are big and the clubhouses and decks are really nice. Highly recommend!!
Safe and luxurious apartments to live in! Brittney is always with a smile and makes you feel like family. Jose goes the extra mile when working on maintenance request in our unit by being respectful to us and especially our furry family member. Gym is well equipped compared to other apartments. Plenty of grills and cooking tops throughout the common areas. The clubhouse is available to use anytime even without reserving it. The first 2 floors are the quietest since they're made of concrete (Thank you Ester for the tip). Great place and great people, definitely recommend to give this place a try.
